San Marcos, TX (August 6, 2019) – On August 2, San Marcos Police and emergency crews reported to the scene of a motor vehicle Accident on Interstate 35.
According to reports, 41-year-old Martel Tamar Sanders was traveling along Interstate 35 on a Harley Davidson motorcycle, in the left lane, when traffic began to slow down. Sanders was unable to slow his vehicle in time and, as a result, he collided with the rear-end of the vehicle ahead of his on the road.
Sanders was ejected from his bike and thrown into moving traffic. Emergency crews began administering CPR to Sanders.
Sanders was subsequently transported to Ascension Seton Medical Center Hays where he was pronounced deceased.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
