Houston, TX (June 7, 2019) – On Thursday, June 5, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of a bicycle crash on the North Freeway.

According to reports, shortly before 5:30 a.m., a motorcyclist was exiting the North Freeway when he was struck by a Motor Vehicle south of the Airtex Drive.

The bicyclist sustained fatal injuries in the collision and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver responsible for the incident fled from the scene before law enforcement agents arrived. At this time, the collision remains under investigation.
