Edinburg, TX (May 17, 2019) – On May 17, around 5:25 a.m., Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a motor vehicle collision along Farm-to-Market Road 1925 east of Cesar Chavez Road.
According to reports, 53-year-old Reynaldo Cardoza was traveling east along FM 1925 in a Chevrolet Suburban when he collided with a Chevrolet pickup truck driven by Jose Garza.
The impact of the collision caused by Cardoza and Garza to sustain fatal injuries. Both men were pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident.
A 13-year-old female passenger inside Garza’s vehicle was injured in the collision and transported to Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg for medical treatment.
