San Antonio, TX (April 23, 2019) – On Saturday, April 20, police and emergency crews responded to a rollover collision in the 112000 block of US Highway 181.
According to police, a 2003 Ford Expedition, driven by 38-year-old Joseph Anthony Robles, was traveling north along the highway when the driver lost control. After losing control of the Vehicle, the SUV rolled over several times. Two individuals inside the vehicle were ejected from the vehicle while a third passenger in the front seat was wearing a seatbelt and only sustained minor injuries.
The two individuals ejected from the vehicle have been identified as 34-year-old Calvin Ronald Hitchcock and 36-year-old Nicky De La Fuente. Both Mr. Hitchcock and Mr. De La Fuente were pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident.
Mr. Robles was arrested for being under the influence at the time of the collision.
