In a world where no one can really guarantee something to happen or not, death can be swift to some people.

TikTok star Kara Santorelli has died at the age of 18 after being involved in a fatal car accident.

But what made the incident viral is that, the teen social media star's death came just days after she told her fans in a video that she had never been in an accident.

"When they try call me a bad driver but I’ve never hit a person or an actual car,” she said in the video's caption.

Kara died in a car accident near her home in Florida on March 17th.

At that time, Kara was driving down Highway 29 in Escambia County, when out of a sudden, a Chevrolet sedan came careening the wrong way and crashed into her Nissan SUV in a head-on collision, as explained by Florida Highway Patrol.

After the collision, one of the cars caught fire and both drivers died in the accident.

Soon after her death, the video she shared quickly gained more viewers.

Through her account where regularly updated her fans, Kata said that she always follows safety norms when driving, and that she always practice safe driving.

Kara wrote in the caption that many people criticize her for being a bad driver but she has never hit a person or a car.

She said that these people have accidents while driving due to their reckless behavior.

She recorded this video while sitting in her car.

When the news broke, Kara’s family, friends, schoolmates, and co-workers are all devastated.

Her mother shared how blessed she was by her daughter.

"I love you Kara. God blessed me with you," she said.

"A little piece of my heart died today when I found out my niece went to heaven. I love your beautiful soul Kara!" said Gina Southard, Kara’s aunt, wrote an obituary for her on Facebook.

"Kara was only 18 and a senior when she passed, but she had touched more lives in her 18 years than many people touch in a lifetime."

"Know that Kara was loved, and she was a light that shone bright during her stay on earth."

Many of her friends recalled how Kara loved spending time on the beach with her family.

"We hold tight to beautiful memories that she had left with us," they shared. "Her beautiful smile and kind spirit will continue to be in the hearts of her friends and classmates."

Jimmy’s Grill, the restaurant where she worked, also mourned her death in a Facebook post.

According to the restaurant, they are deeply saddened by her demise. The restaurant recalled that Kara was a strong person and knew how to make everyone smile even in tough times.

Jimmy's Grill said that her smile will not be forgotten by customers and her coworkers.
