Adelia Putri Salma is an Instagram influencer from Indonesia. Residing in Lampung, South Sumatera, her status as an internet celebrity may earned her endorsements. But the lifestyle she flaunts, shows that she earns way more than even her peers with larger following.

For obvious reason, this happened because the husband of the beauty influencer, runs a drug trafficking business.

Because of this, Adelia came under the spotlight.

It is suspected that Adelia became involved in the international drug trade, following her husband, who had been imprisoned earlier.

Adelia's husband, David, was arrested by the South Sumatra Regional Narcotics Agency, with four of this drug couriers.

This information was provided by the Head of BNNP South Sumatra, Inspector General Djoko Prihadi.

The arrests took place at two locations.

According to Djoko, during the arrest of David, there was a measured exchange of gunfire, resulting in the death of one suspect. The shooting occurred because one of the suspects resisted arrest.

In the first arrest, which happened at a housing complex, suspects arrested were Adi Alfian, Evan, Abah, and the deceased, Herry Purnama. At the second location, David was arrested at a car dealership.

"Indeed, at that time, a joint team arrested the husband of Adelia Putri Salma," he confirmed.

During the arrest, David, who is also known by the name Kadafi, was found in possession of 10 kilograms of methamphetamine and 30 ecstasy pills.

It's worth noting that the police suspicion on Adelia is also based on the Lampung Regional Police Drug Division, who arrested her courier. This suggests that David, was still able to conduct his business while in jail.

This led to the apprehension of the social media influencer.

"Yes, Adelia Putri Salma was arrested as a result of developments made by the Lampung Regional Police Drug Division since the beginning of the network's arrests," he explained.

Following her arrest at a beauty clinic in Palembang, Adelia made her Instagram private.

When the police seize David and Adelia's property, it's certain that the couple live a luxurious lifestyle.

First. Adelia has flaunted the public an extravagant life that can be parred with socialites, but way above an influencer her size. They include horseback riding, archery, shooting, boxing and golf.

With 21 thousand followers, she also owns several expensive cars, including a BMW, a Mercedes-Benz, a Jaguar, a Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, a Toyota Alphard and a Toyota Innova.

Witness that include the couple's neighbor, said that Adelia and David rarely interact with others in the neighborhood.

"Before the arrest, many luxury cars were parked at their house, including a white Alphard and a white Mercedes that Adelia and her family often used. There was also a BMW, but that car is no longer there. The last time we saw it, it was towed away. Only a brown Pajero Sport remains," the person said.

"Here, she doesn't socialize. But when we saw her go out, she looked like a socialite, a fashionable lady," the person added.

The police have confiscated several other assets belonging to this Palembang influencer and her drug trafficker husband.

These assets were revealed by the Director of the Narcotics Detective Directorate of the Lampung Regional Police, Chief Commissioner Erlin Tangjaya

Additionally, a minimarket building valued at billions of rupiah, is also seized and cordoned off, reports said.
