'Super Hacker' Hacked Disneyland California Social Media Accounts To Post Hate And Conspiracies

07/07/2022

Someone claiming to be a "super hacker" managed to take over Disneyland California's Social Media Accounts, to post racial slurs, misinformation, hate, COVID-19 conspiracies, and more.

The hacker who identified himself as "David-Do" accessed the official Disneyland California accounts on Facebook and Instagram, claiming to get revenge on Disneyland workers who allegedly mocked him for "having a small penis."

The hacker went on to repeatedly use the N-word and make outlandish claims, as well as homophobic comments.

"I am f-----g tired of all these [racial slur] Disney employees mocking me for having a small penis," he wrote. "WHO’S THE TOUGH GUY NOW JEROME? GET HACKED YOU."

The hacker went on to claim that he was the one who "invented" COVID-19.

"Thinkin' about the time I invented COVID and blamed it on Wuhan cuz f--k ya'll," he wrote.

While no one has been identified as the hacker, the person "David Do" that the hacker claimed to be, was apparently a set up.

At first, media outlets, have taken the hackers claims as the truth, and suggest that the hacker was self-doxxing himself.

But after investigation, the case was more like the hacker was pretending to be Do, and wanted to embarrass Do by leaving his face and readily available information all over the Disneyland pages.

The hacker even tagged Do's Instagram account.

Apparently, the hacker took Do's profile picture from his YouTube channel, where he has shared a number of videos of himself playing Fortnite and other video games. Do also hosts similar content on his Twitch account.

The officials at Disneyland California managed to reclaim the account, and removed all posts posted by the alleged hacker, within hours of the incident.

"We worked quickly to remove the reprehensible content, secure our accounts, and our security teams are conducting an investigation," said a representative for Disneyland in a statement.

The Instagram account for the Disneyland park, in Anaheim, California, has around 8.4 million followers.

It regularly posts photos from attractions at the park and photos of guests, including families and young children

The hacker only managed to hack Disneyland California's social media accounts, and not its website.
