The family that moved in after, the Lutz family, claimed that they heard voices, saw slime oozing from the walls, and felt a demonic force in the home. Nowadays, the mansion has been renovated and sold to new owners.

2. Queen Anne Hotel- San Francisco, CA

The Queen Anne Hotel was previously a boarding school for girls run by Mary Lake. At the current bread and breakfast this building currently serves as, guests have reportedly seen misty apparitions of the friendly Mary unpacking clothes or tucking their sheets in.

Today, the LaLaurie mansion is considered to be the most haunted location in the French Quarter. Although the mansion is now privately owned and not open for public viewing, you can still view the exterior and learn about its history on a few haunted tours.
