• Step 1: Remove the instructions and accessories from carton A.
• Step 2: Gently punch out the perforated circle on each material carton and connect the hoses to the A and B material tanks. The hoses are color-coded to match the corresponding tanks, so it is easy to get this right.
• Step 3: Tighten each hose onto the tanks with the provided wrench.
• Step 4: With the spray foam lock trigger engaged, fully open the tank valves counterclockwise for three full turns.
• Step 5: Spray the applicator (without the nozzle) into a waste container for a test spray until you see two distinct streams of material.
• Step 6: Apply lubricant to the applicator’s barrel and then attach the nozzle to the applicator.
• Step 7: Do a test spray on a piece of cardboard to ensure the materials mix properly.
• Step 8: Commence spraying the foam.
• Step 9: To shut down the system for future use or disposal, engage the safety lock on the applicator, remove the nozzle, wipe the foam from the barrel with a clean rag, close both tank valves, then store everything in a warm, dry area with a temperature between 60 degrees F and 120 degrees F. If you plan to use it again, it must be within 30 days.

When it is time to throw away your used spray foam insulation kit, please do so according to your local regulations so that you protect the environment.

Additional Tips

Before you begin spraying, there are some additional safety steps that Touch N’Seal recommends:

• Wear protective gear to cover all of your skin. Wear gloves, safety glasses, and coveralls. A Tyvek suit is excellent to protect your clothes from overspray, while an OSHA-approved respirator will keep you from breathing in fumes.
• To make sure the chemicals cure properly, ensure the environmental temperature is as follows: Chemicals should be above 70 degrees F, surfaces above 60 degrees F, and the ambient air above 60 degrees F. The higher the temperatures are, the faster the materials will cure.
• If you stop the flow for more than 30 seconds, the materials will begin to cure and the nozzle will be blocked. To start spraying again, replace the nozzle with one of the replacement provided nozzles.
• When you start insulating, spray the frame first and then fill in the space within. Let the frame cure before you apply extra layers.
