The Biellese Sheep is a breed of domestic sheep which was originated from Italy. It is a large breed and indigenous to the province of Biella, in Piedmont in north-western Italy. And the breed is named so from this area. It is also known by some other names such as the Razza d’Ivrea, after the town of Ivrea, or also known as the Piemontese Alpina.
