Detroit, MI (October 1, 2023) – Police say a motorcyclist was involved in a collision on Sunday afternoon, October 1, in central Detroit.

On Sunday, October 1, at 12:40 p.m., the incident reportedly occurred near the corner of Groesbeck Highway and Schoenherr. Officers with the Detroit Police Department, along with Detroit EMTs, rushed to the site to evaluate those who were hurt. However, the cause of the collision and the total number of injured victims remains unknown. The motorcyclist is said to be in serious condition.

DPD officers asked any witnesses to come forward with additional information in the meantime.
