Our thoughts are with the injured victim and their loved ones in hopes of their fast recovery.

Head-on Crashes in Michigan

When two vehicles collide head-on, the resulting trauma is often catastrophic. The impact of a collision between two cars going in opposing directions is substantially more intense than that of a typical car accident. It’s not hard to understand why circumstances like this call for extra scrutiny and caution. You have one shot at a stress-free recovery, and you and your loved ones’ futures rely on the outcome of a successful claim for personal injury.

Regardless of the details surrounding your head-on collision, this type of accident will likely have a significant effect on your future health and finances because of the seriousness of your injuries and the medical care they typically require. Moreover, most head-on crashes are the result of negligence on the part of at least one of the drivers, adding insult to injury for victims who are enduring the tragic consequences.

Possible causes for a driver to veer out of their lane and into oncoming traffic, causing a head-on crash, include inattention, distraction, or recklessness. Wrong-way driving is another important factor. In all too many incidents, motorists in Michigan may have also bypassed an on-ramp and entered the freeway through an exit. A driver who turns the wrong way onto a busy one-way street is in the same position.
