According to the improved Land Pooling Policy passed by Urban Development Ministry under Master Plan-2021 a person can sell his portion of Floor Area Ratio (FAR) to another landowner. The objective of the policy is to include private parties in development of real estate for residential and commercial purposes in the capital city. This modification in the policy would prove beneficial for the land owners pooling their land for the projects. Also, only a certain percentage would be granted to be traded.
