Tesla will kick off its highly-anticipated Gigafactory Grand Opening Party this evening and we’ll be there to cover it live! The event begins at 4pm Pacific time with an exclusive pre-party hosted by Tesla at the Whitney Peak hotel in downtown Reno, NV. Party-goers would then be shuttled by Tesla to the Gigafactory where the official Grand Opening event festivities will begin.
Event schedule as follows (Pacific time):
- Check-in will open at 5pm.
- Food and drinks begins at 6pm.
- Factory Tours and test rides will be offered on a first to arrive basis from 6-9pm. Time slots will be allocated at check-in.
- Remarks will begin at 9pm, tours and rides to resume after remarks.
