Nicole Kidman sold her apartment in New York this month, according to the city's public records.

The three bedroom home, which boasts sweeping views of Manhattan's harbour, was purchased by the actress in 2003 using her sister's name. But a few years ago, Kidman and her husband became frustrated by the construction of the Meier tower nearby, which blocked her view of the Hudson River. The couple then bought another apartment last year after listing the three-bedroom Property for rent in 2010.

Now, Kidman has found someone who wants to live there full-time, selling the property for $16 million to an LLC named Perry West. The building is a popular hotspot for celebrity house hunters. Indeed, Jim Carrey and Hugh Jackman have both been linked to property in the tower block, according to The Real Deal.

Kidman, meanwhile, will be enjoying the harbour views from her other apartment in Sydney, Australia. The actress reportedly purchased the flat next door last week with the plan to combine the two into a double-sized home.
