8 Solutions, the leading provider of specialist Technical Cleaning and data centre services across EMEA, has just completed a significant restoration project for a data centre in Leeds damaged by flooding earlier in the year when the River Aire broke her banks.

8 Solutions team of highly trained technicians worked tirelessly to bring the data centre back to its former glory. It was a major undertaking to clean every inch of the two buildings which were live and operational, especially considering the flood water was more than a metre deep in some areas. In addition to the Cleaning works, 8 Solutions assessed the integrity of the Raised Access floors, which were heavily saturated and bowing significantly.

8 Solutions were engaged to replace the floor and install reinforcing and bracing under racks and frames where the panels were trapped and couldn’t be removed. 8 Solutions put together a detailed phased programme and hit every milestone and once again delivered a fantastic result.
