Bed pads are similar to incontinence pads in the way that they absorbent and lock Moisture away however these are flat and can be placed on a bed, a waterproof backing stops moisture from leaking onto the mattress and bedding.
A) Once the liquid touches the white top surface of the pad the absorbent pulp draws moisture to the center of sheet.
B) The powdered gel absorbs the moisture and locks this moisture ensuring it doesnt leak back to the surface
C) The plastic backing acts as a barrier stoppoping the moisture from leaking right through the pad to the mattress and bedding, this also has a sticky backing to stop the bed pad from moving during the night.
