Dearest Spring,

Where have you been hiding? I’ve been waiting for 1 whole year now. I was expecting you here on 1st March, you know the first day of spring. I expected you to stay last week when you came round for a brief visit. I’ve done everything you ask, I cleaned my house, got all of those odd jobs done, tidied the garden, Bought Fresh Flowers, finished my wall gallery, polished my chandelier, bought fresh flowers. I bought myself some pretty summer dresses too, so please don’t tell me that you’re not coming. Not that I don’t like your brother Winter, but to be honest, he’s not really my type, he’s been hanging around since last september and he can’t stay here anymore.

Anyways, let me know if you lost my address –  I’d hate for you to get lost.
