Welcome to 2013! I Hope you’re ready to move into a productive and profitable year ~ I know I’m pretty excited about this year. Actually, I’ll confess that I decided not to wait for January 1st and I started working on my 2013 plans before December was even over. My birthday is December 27th and I decided to just make that my own personal new year and dive into the things I wanted to work on and create.

One of the first things I did was update the theme here at the Small Business Transcriptionist – I hope you like it Erica was a Thesis user so the site was originally built with that, but I’m a Genesis user and even though the two have some similarities I felt really lost in the Thesis dashboard landscape. I switched everything over and so far haven’t found any bugs or glitches, but if you happen to come across something that didn’t transfer well please let me know.

I decided January was a good time to revive the blog here as well. Through the end of last year we were so busy wrapping up transcription projects to help clients meet their end of year goals that we completely forgot there was even a blog here to be written on. Busy is good and we love it, but we like interacting with all of you out here in blog-land too, so keep an eye out for something to be posted here at least once a week throughout 2013.
