What the 70-Percent Learned about Video Production

As 2022 was drawing to a close, South Carolina and Georgia businesses, healthcare practices and numerous nonprofits (from associations to religious institutions) were questioned as to their interest in video.

Our firm, Primeau Productions, is a full-service, “script to screen” video production company based in Greenville, SC. Naturally, we were most interested in the results of the market research. Of all of the companies not using video in 2022, we learned that at least 70-percent said were planning on using video for their sales and marketing in 2023 and beyond.

70-Percent is a Huge Number

Why did so many businesses and nonprofits want to make the switch to video? There were at least 7 important reasons:

  1. It’s easier! At Primeau Productions we hear it all of the time. Our clients tell us, “The whole process of making video was easier than we thought it was going to be.” We intentionally make it that way. As professionals, we believe in taking the burden away from you. Tell us what you want, what you need, and we will help you make it happen.
  2. The value. About 40-percent of our new clients see the value in producing quality video. After all, most of their competition is already doing so and they don’t want to get left behind.
  3. Less time consumed. So many of our new clients at Primeau Productions (about 35-percent) believed that producing a professional video would take huge amounts of their time and energy. It doesn’t. We’re experienced specialists in producing every tool from web content to YouTube videos to interviews. We know your time is valuable and we understand the value of being efficient as well as economical.
  4. It’s affordable. Don’t let a video production company convince you that quality video needs to be expensive. More than 30-percent of our 2023 new clients came to us because they saw the affordability of producing professional video.
  5. Return on investment. New clients in Greenville, Athens and Easley all agreed that the ROI, the return on investment, was well worth the expense of producing the video. In addition to the fact that video can be used in multiple ways, it gives customers, clients or patients, a consistent message.
  6. New clients came to us (about 20-percent of our new business) because they were so overwhelmed in the new challenges of their post-pandemic business, they could no longer waste time on less productive types of messaging.
  7. Primeau Productions believes in absolute transparency and our clients respond to that. We deliver, we follow-up on our promises, we get the results you’re after.

Wow, it’s almost 2024!

One thing is clear. Video is here to stay. Primeau Productions understands that no matter the kind of business or the type of video needed, whether a training video for an Easley home builder or a new patient introduction to an Athens dentist, people seek out quality video.

In 2024, every industry prediction shows that video production will only increase in use and quality. Video is no longer a luxury but a necessity. We are pleased to discuss all of the video options open to you.
