Chisholm Trail Updates on NTTA We have been exploring the Trail together, and in my last post, we explored luxury living in Mira Vista.   Today we will explore a new deveolopment  -    If you exit the Chisholm Trail Parkway at Arborlawn and continue on to Bryant Irvin you may encounter increased traffic due to construction along the route.  The former site of The Lockheed Martin Recreation Area (once affectionately known as LMRA to local residents) is being developed into a 63 acre mixed use master planned community along Clear Fork Trinity River.   The Trinity Trails connect over 20 parks and goes to downtown Fort Worth.   Even the river has been developed to include a river walk.  Waterside will include retail, restaurant, multifamily, office space, a hotel and The Grove public event center.  It will feature community centered amenities such as public meeting spaces and artwork.  Whole Foods supermarket will be the highlight, and will be the first location of the chain store in Fort Worth  Other retailers and restaurants are to include REI, Taco diner, Zoe’s Kitchen and Blaze Pizza. It will also feature several local chefs using locally-grown ingredients. The expected completion date is Spring 2016.
