Every year, we reward likeminded young Texans who have shown that they are more than just students by making an impact in their community.

2018 Winner: Kaimen Goudy

Kaimen’s actions have had an impact beyond the Lone Star State and across the world to Africa. When she and her family moved there, she discovered many girls were unable to attend school for five to 10 days a month due to the lack of available Feminine Hygiene Products. Moved by her belief in a right to education, Kaimen co-founded a nonprofit organization, Nurturing Universal Femininity, that has supplied more than 10,000 feminine hygiene products to young women in Zambia. The organization is in the process of collecting additional supplies and will widen distribution to include Uganda, Rwanda and Nepal.
