New Delhi: The Jinx will return to HBO shortly for a second season, nine years after the first one concluded. From Durst’s arrest to his conviction and death, the final seven years of his life will be chronicled.

Thanks to the 2015 smash success of – The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst, the epic Documentary Series boasts a long and storied history. Part one was a riveting epic about the life of Robert Durst, an heir to an estate in New York who is a convicted murderer.

Season one of this historic documentary Series, directed by Jarecki, follows Robert Durst as he faces charges related to his friend Susan Berman’s murder. In 2021, after a lengthy trial, Durst was found guilty of Berman’s first-degree murder and handed a life sentence in jail. Durst passed away aged 78 years old for undetermined reasons at a hospital in California.

Part Two recounts the filmmakers’ eight-year investigation into the case, during which they uncovered previously undiscovered evidence, interviewed witnesses who had remained silent, and listened to Durst’s jail calls.

Plot

Six episodes make up The Jinx Part Two, a documentary series that peeks inside Robert Durst’s life behind bars. It features fresh interviews, reenactments, and testimonies from those who have since come forward with details on Durst.

In the second part, we will learn about Durst’s last seven years, beginning with his arrest and ending with his death. An intriguing twist occurred only hours before the series finale aired: Durst was arrested in New Orleans for the death of his longtime companion Susan Berman.

The series part 2 has a trailer and it has exclusive interviews and some new clips. Additionally, it teases some of the show’s impending topics, like the intriguing possibility of corruption that follows a wealthy man’s conviction for a crime.

At 10 p.m. ET on Sunday, April 21, 2024, the second part of The Jinx will be premiering. From now until the series concludes on May 26, 2024, new episodes will be released every Sunday. You can see every episode on HBO. Max users will also be able to watch it live.

Cast
