New Delhi: Andrea Hewitt, wife of former cricketer Vinod Kambli accused him of assaulting, and abusing her. After her complaint, an FIR was registered against Kamble.

She said that the incident took place at their Bandra home.

Andrea alleged that he threw the handle of a cooking pan at her after which he suffered a head injury.

Andrea had gone to Bhabha Hospital for a medical examination.

After her complaint, the Bandra police registered the FIR against Kambli under Sections 324 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code.
