PM Modi to address valedictory session of BJP National Executive meet today

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the valedictory session of Bjp National Executive meeting in New Delhi today. Mr Modi and BJP President Amit Shah jointly inaugurated the two-day meet yesterday.

The meeting is being attended by its national leadership, key leaders from all states and union territories and office bearers. This is the first National Executive meeting which is being held in absence of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajapyee. Strategy for upcoming assembly and Lok Sabha elections are expected to be discussed at the meet.

The National Executive will also discuss ways to ensure how the work done by the Narendra Modi government can be taken to the people in the most effective manner. Bjp President Amit Shah yesterday described the grand alliance of opposition parties as an eyewash, illusion and based on falsehood and asked the party workers to expose it.

Addressing the meeting, Mr Shah said, the parties which are in grand alliance have been defeated by BJP even after 2014 and such alliance will not make any difference.

‘BJP working for making India, Cong for breaking India’

Briefing the media, Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said, Mr Shah asserted that the no-confidence motion brought by the opposition in Parliament shows their frustration and disruptive politics and the motion was defeated with clear majority in the Lok Sabha. He said, BJP led governemnt is working on making India, while Congress is indulging in politics of breaking India.

Mr Shah said, the next Lok Sabha election will be fought on the basis of Modi government’s achievements and asked party workers to take government’s good work to the people. He said, youth, poor, woman and every section has been touched by the NDA government’s schemes.

‘Govt committed to implement NRC’

Mr. Shah also spoke about Kerala flood and urged party workers to keep contributing for the rehabilitation. BJP President also mentioned about National Register of Citizens saying that the government is committed to implement it and it will not tolerate illegal infiltrations.

Mr Shah alleged that the Congress is doing vote bank politics on the issue of urban naxalite. He appreciated the Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis for state government action in this regard.

In the beginning of his speech, Mr Shah mentioned that He highlighted the contribution of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in various fields. BJP President Amit Shah inaugurated the party’s office bearers meeting before the National Executive meet.
