What is the difference between Peugeot 308 and 3008?

For longer items, such as surfboards, the front passenger seat also folds down. Boot volume ranges from 591 litres with the seats in place to 1670 litres with the rear seats folded to roof height. Most versions of the Peugeot 308 have a boot capacity from 435 litres to 1274 litres with the rear seats folded, but the touring wagon model offers quite a bit more, up to 1740 litres. The diesel engine offers 133 kW of power with an 8-speed automatic gearbox for a sporty driving experience, and its CO2 emissions are from 130 g/km.

The Peugeot 308’s strength lies in its efficiency and smooth driving experience. Like the 3008, it offers two engine types: a 96kW PureTech turbo petrol engine and a 110kW BlueHDi turbo diesel engine. The PureTech engine has been awarded International Engine of the Year for 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 and has an emissions rating from just 113g/km. The diesel engine offers 370Nm of torque at 2000 rpm and its CO2 emissions are from 115g/km.
Technology & Infotainment

Both the 3008 and 308 are equipped with the latest technology and infotainment capabilities. They each offer Bluetooth and MirrorScreen capabilities, including the use of Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Mirrorlink. Voice recognition and 3D satellite navigation are also standard in each, but the 3008 additionally comes with a smartphone induction charging plate.

In terms of comfort and convenience, the Peugeot 3008 offers an adjustable steering column, electric folding door mirrors, remote central locking and a hands free tailgate for opening the boot when your arms are full. Just by waving your foot under the back of the car, you can open the boot. Like the 3008, the 308 also offers an adjustable steering wheel and electric folding door mirrors. For extra convenience in the city, it has functions such as ‘city park’ for parallel and bay parking.

For safety and security functions, the 3008 and 308 rate highly and are equipped with the latest technology. Both offer driver attention alert, active blind spot monitoring, lane-keeping assistance, adaptive cruise control and Enhance Park Assist which helps the driver see all around the vehicle.
