The creator of the Ethereum Crypto Currency, Vitalik Buterin, admitted that his April 1 proposal to improve the EIP 960 protocol was in fact a joke.
At the same time, the developer noted that the goal he pursued when publishing this message is of secondary importance, as it resulted in a serious and reasoned discussion of one of the most important issues for the Ethereum ecosystem.
Moreover, Buterin expressed his readiness to translate the proposal, if the community deems the restriction of emissions necessary.
According to Buterin, most of the community did not notice another April Fool’s joke, which was hidden in the message about the establishment of the official stable crypto currency on the basis of Ethereum.
Previously, the creators of the TRON crypto currency were repeatedly accused of plagiarizing and borrowing the contents of white paper from other popular projects.
