A new Whatsapp update for iPhone introduced an important security feature. Version 2.19.20 includes Biometric Authentication through Face ID and Touch ID.

When activating the new feature, the user can unblock WhatsApp. This biometric authentication does not apply to conversations, just to start working with WhatsApp.

To activate this feature only enter Settings, select Account (Account) and then Privacy (Privacy). Once there they can activate the Screen Lock.

For now it is not known when the Android version will include something similar, but according to rumors, WhatsApp is working on that.
