Microsoft tests Project Bali, tool that will allow the user to visualize, control and monetize their private data
Thanks to a tweet discovered by Mary Jo Foley of ZDnet , the news was learned that Microsoft Research is testing the Project Bali in private beta, which includes a tool that will allow the user to view, manage, control, share and monetize their private data. Something this last that can attract the attention of many users.

Of course this has nothing to do with the data collected by all companies such as Google, Facebook, Twitter and others, it only refers to the data that one shares with Microsoft and that there are still many.
This is not a rumor, the project exists and already has a website (at the time of publishing this article could not be accessed) where the page describing the project explains the following:
New personal data bank that puts users in control of all data collected about them … The bank will allow users to store all the data (raw and inferred) generated by them. It will allow the user to view, manage, control, share and monetize the data.
It is a bold project that if it works can be the starting point for other companies to do the same.
