Reduced application processing is now possible with British Columbia Express Entry (BC-EE) aligning with Federal Express Entry Immigration Selection System.

The BC-EE Stream enables eligible applicants to receive priority processing of British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC-PNP) application and can apply for Permanent Residency application, if nominated. Under the BC-PNP, the potential candidates should meet minimum provincial eligibility criteria for one of the following categories.

• International Graduates
• International Post Graduates
• Skilled Workers (including Health Care Professionals Category)

In addition, the applicant should be eligible for federal economic immigration programs so that they can enter the Express Entry Pool.

• Canadian Experience Class
• Federal Skilled Trades Class
• Federal Skilled Worker Class

Under Federal Economic Immigration Program candidates should meet a mandatory language proficiency level and show proof of sufficient funds to support themselves and their family on arrival in Canada. All the eligible candidates are also required to submit the results of an Educational Credential Assessment.

Skilled Worker Category (Includes Health Care Professionals Category):

The above category is for international skilled workers who have employment experience in professional, technical, management, trade or other skilled occupation and who have completed their post-secondary education. The applicant’s occupation should be classified under the National Occupation Classification (NOC) matrix as level 0, A or B.

The International Post-Graduate Category-Apply without Job Offer:

The applicant should have completed master’s or doctoral degree in sciences last three years back from an eligible program from a post-secondary institution in BC. The above applicant might be eligible to apply under this category provided the post-graduate degree must be in one of the following natural, applied or health services.

• Biological and biomedical sciences
• Agriculture
• Engineering
• Computer and information sciences and support services
• Engineering Technology
• Mathematics and statistics
• Health professions and related clinical sciences
• Physical sciences
• Natural resources conservation and research

International Graduate Category:

International Graduates who have completed their graduation from a Canadian University or College within the past three years might be eligible to apply under the above category. Applicants applying under the above category should have a qualifying job offer which should be full time and permanent in nature from a BC Employer in a skilled occupation.

Minimum Income Requirement:

Minimum income threshold varies depending on the family size. The applicants should demonstrate their and their spouse’s if applicable-annual wage in British Columbia meets the income threshold.
