Hamilton Police are actively investigating the tragic death of a 56-year-old man in Upper Stoney Creek, with the primary suspect being identified as the victim’s son. Upon arriving at the scene, emergency responders discovered the victim, identified as Kuldip Singh, with severe injuries. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Singh was later pronounced deceased. Witnesses within the residence have informed investigators that the suspect, identified as 22-year-old Sukhraj Cheema-Singh, hastily fled the premises in a dark-colored SUV immediately after the altercation.
Cheema-Singh is now the subject of a manhunt, facing charges of first-degree murder. Hamilton Police have issued a warning, emphasizing that he is considered armed and dangerous, especially as the weapon used in the incident has yet to be recovered.
