Two 17-year-olds from Brampton Charged with Robbery after Violent Hold-Up

Two teenagers, both aged 17 and from Brampton, have been charged with robbery after an alleged violent hold-up that took place last month. According to the Peel Regional Police, the victim was robbed at gunpoint in the area of Main St. and Gillingham Dr. on the evening of March 12.

While the victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries, personal property was stolen during the incident. Shortly after the hold-up, a 17-year-old female suspect was identified and charged with robbery. The suspect was released and is set to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on a future date.

In a recent development, officers searched a home in the Wanless Dr. and Mclaughlin Rd. area of Brampton where they discovered a BB gun replica firearm. The police subsequently arrested a 17-year-old male from Brampton and charged him with robbery, imitation firearm use while committing an offense, and disguise with intent. The identities of the accused cannot be published due to the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
