Environment Canada has issued a recent fog advisory for the cities of Brampton and Mississauga.

Near Zero visibility is expected in the cities after the fog moved in from Lake Ontario. QEW is experiencing severely dense fog, which is said to move further inland post the evening hours,

It has been mentioned that the visibility can suddenly be reduced to near zero, which can turn travel hazardous in some locations. The drivers have been adviced to watch for trail lights ahead and be prepared to stop at all times in case the visibility is reduced while driving.

A new advisory has also been issued for Burlington, Oakville, and Toronto.
