Second suspect in Brampton’s college plaza fight also Arrested

Peel Police have arrested another person alleged to be involved in the violent incident that occurred on Sunday, August 28, 2022, in college plaza in the Steeles Avenue and Mclaughlin Road area in the City of Brampton.

In a viral video, it was shown that one person was holding a sword and swinging it towards other people. 

The fight involved a large group of people, police said, and several individuals were assaulted, suffering non-life-threatening injuries.

On Sunday, September 18, 2022, Mansharan Malhi, a 24-year-old from Sydney, Nova Scotia, has been charged with the following offence:

Mansharan Malhi has been scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on November 16, 2022.

Peel Regional Police continues investigating this violent incident to identify others responsible. Anyone with information regarding this matter is asked to contact the 22 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau at 905-453-3311, extension 2233.
