After hearing the arguments in the case, the Punjab and Haryana High Court reserved its decision on February 25. The judgement was handed down by Justice Raj Mohan Singh’s bench.
On February 27, Gurmeet Ram Rahim’s furlough came to an end. On February 7, a 21-day vacation was granted. Punjab held its assembly elections on February 20. He was then transferred to the Sunaria jail in Rohtak. During his vacation, he was staying at Namcharcha Ghar in Gurugram.
