Cars & Coffee Serves Up Florida Fine Cars

WEST PALM BEACH – Who doesn’t like cars and coffee?

Florida Fine Cars is a fan of both and recently joined up with the popular Cars & Coffee Palm Beach car meet up, which draws thousands of car enthusiasts to the Palm Beach Outlets mall, 1751 Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard.

The event, founded almost four years ago,  showcases an array of vintage, classic, custom and exotic cars in an easy to access venue that features 1,500 to 3,000 show vehicles and 30+ vendors every month.

Florida Fine Cars took some of its finest wheels on the road on June 11th to the popular car show and in a show of community support.

The family-owned car dealership has stores in West Palm Beach, Hollywood and Miami.

“Cars & Coffee is a great opportunity for Florida Fine Cars to network with other car lovers, meet local business owners and support the community,” said Florida Fine Cars marketing manager Jamie Suid. “We hope to participate regularly.”

The event was founded by John Zeilinga, a Plantation firefighter and auto enthusiast who initially arranged a small car meet in Boynton Beach. The event achieved a loyal following and quickly blossomed into one of the largest car meets around, requiring a switch in venue in 2015.

“From the unveiling of rare hyper cars to showcasing one-of-a-kind customs, the show strives to offer something for everyone,” according to the event website.

“There is something for everybody,” said Lana Vegosen Galati, director of marketing for Cars & Coffee. “Because it is South Florida we have access to certain types of vehicles that maybe other people wouldn’t. We do our best to get very attractive and interesting showcases. You could have a multi-million dollar car parked right next to a Rat Rod and everybody respects everybody else.”

The monthly events, which run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. one Sunday a month, feature food trucks, vendors and displays. There’s something for everyone.

It’s popularity earned Cars & Coffee Palm Beach the title of “King of Cars & Coffee” (U.S.) for 2016. The event was the first show on the East Coast to feature W Motors’ Lykan & Fenyr (prototype); Aston Martin DB11 (prototype); Lexus LC500 (prototype); Jaguar 7; and McLaren 570S & GT.

Other recent showcase vehicles have included: “The BADD (Ford) GT” Johnny Bohmer Racing’s World’s Fastest Streetcar; 1 of 1 1967 GT500 Convertible Prototype (estimated to be worth $20 million, and owned by local enthusiast Brian Styles); and numerous collector, custom, and/or vintage Paganis, Bugattis, Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Porsches, race cars, classics, muscle cars and imports.

Florida Fine Cars Takes Pride in Community Involvement

Florida Fine Cars marketing assistant Cesar Pentzke was wowed by the pet-friendly June 11th event. If you’re looking for something fun to do, it’s a great choice, he said.

Car enthusiasts admire some cool cars at a recent Cars & Coffee event in West Palm Beach.

“There were all sorts of different vehicles with proud owners ready to show off their unique vehicles to the crowd of spectators.  The show is $5 to enter your vehicle for show and it’s free for spectators to come and check out,” Pentzke said.  “The event itself has a very fun vibe with people all over the place casually walking around and getting an inside look at some of these impressive vehicles.”

Interested in auto sound systems or some other type of auto accessories? There are plenty to check out!

“I got into one of the trucks that had a sound system (6 x15″ speakers) and the power behind those things literally make a t shirt float in the air,” Pentzke said. “They have food trucks and vendors at the event as well so it really is a notable event for the public to come and enjoy a morning.”

The next Cars & Coffee event is the third annual “Christmas in July Benefit Toy Drive” planned for 9 a.m. to noon on Sunday, July 30th.

Other upcoming Cars & Coffee dates include August 27th, September 24th, October 29th, November 19th and December 3rd.
