For Marcela, a job at one ofthe world’s most recognizable companies just wasn’t enough. “Iused to work at Coca-Cola in Argentina, and even though it was atop-of-the-line company, I felt that I needed more,” she admitted whenasked about her career history. “I wanted a more challenging atmosphere,”she added. Fortunately, Oracle called her just in time to offer her a chance totransform her career. That was 22 years ago; today Marcela is still part of theOracle family, so we set out to find the reasons she’s stuck around so long.

“When I feel like nothing new is goingon, Oracle surprises me,” she saidabout the constant, stimulating challenges that Oracle gives its employees. Andas for the challenges that employees themselves propose, “If you have a good idea or agood suggestion, you can just talk to your manager or peers and make ithappen,” Marcela shared.
