Lately the news has been all over the newest craze to come to the app Store, a game called Pokemon Go. In the game, players have to walk around the real world in order to collect Pokemon creatures on the app. This game is popular among children of course but it has also found its way into the college demographic. Many college-age people played with Pokemon cards when they were children, so this new game brings on a sense of nostalgia.

There is not yet a feature on the app for stores to draw players in by having Pokemon in their store, but there are rumors that this may be in the app’s future. In any case, playing the game is getting people outside more. And when students come back to Campus, they’ll be roaming around campus more. Promotional tables and street teams will reach more students if more students are coming outside and walking around campus.
