Ugly Christmas Sweaters
At some point in the 80s or 90s there was a run on really cute Christmas sweaters. People knit them as gifts and some people spent a lot of money to buy them in fancy stores.
Then the tide turned, and the sweaters were proclaimed "ugly" and ever after people wore these sweaters as some sort of indicator of how trendy they were. Or something?
Now I am happy to say that today's craft makes use of any ugly sweaters-- or perfectly nice-looking sweaters that don't fit or are sadly out of style so as not to be worn as anything but a make-do warm-up top for before you really get into your morning.
TODAY'S CRAFT: no-Knit Tree Ornaments

Knit Tree OrnamentBy FrugalistaYes, this craft -- what I am calling a "knit tree ornament"-- is actually recycling an old sweater or two or three to look like very interesting home-made ornaments. Sweet and cozy and all that!
