Survivor Affirmations: Fear Exists to Teach Us

Male human beings
 have no idea what what
 qualifies as a
"valid fear" for
a female human being.

Fear is a whisper in the dark, an omen that something may not be right. It is a beacon of safety, guiding us toward protective actions. Our fears can be messengers, sent from the depths of our being to warn us of impending danger.

Ignoring our fears without further investigation allows danger to enter our lives unannounced, while paying attention to them empowers us to take proactive measures for our safety.

Fear is not a sign of weakness; it is a sign of strength and resilience. It is a force that can propel us into action and keep us out of harm's way.

Women have always had the courage to stand up to fears.

Whether it is:

fear of change

fear of leaving a relationship

fear of raising children

fear of speaking

fear of standing alone

fear of healing

fear of facing our inner demons

fear of taking on generations of lies

fear of beginning again, and again.

Women, stand up to fear!!

When it comes to fear, please continue to listen to that individual Voice inside of you. Your fears are valid and worth investigating further.

Take for instance the fear of public speaking.  Once you get over this fear, you feel a bit silly BUT you learn something about yourself in the process.

Personally, I learned more about my confidence level, or lack of. Confronting this fear took me down an entire rabbit hole. And as the song says, "I grew stronger."

Fear of a person, place, or thing may simply mean you need to avoid them at all costs.  Finding the right answer for you is a process.

I wish you all wellness on your journey.

P.S. It is very easy for people to talk to women and girls about what we should and should not fear.

Let's uplift males who speak to males about their fears so that we can end gun violence, rape, wars, rape against citizens in times of war, domestic violence and femicide.
