Cyclothon’16 :

Sunday; 9th October 2016

Sattva, the cultural fest of NMIMS’s engineering college(MPSTME) organized a Cyclothon event for the first time ever on the 9th of October, which saw over 300+ cycling enthusiasts of all age groups participate. The event was flagged of on an early Sunday morning by our very special chief guest, Freddy Daruwala. To add to the fun, Cyrus Contractor ,led the group for the entire 8.4 km course, which started from MPSTME, circled all the way till Juhu, Santacruz and back to college. The organization team had done a fantastic job. The whole event saw committee members spread on the entire route. The traffic was managed amazingly by the help of our very own Mumbai police. The students all by themselves had done bagged quite a few huge brands as sponsors, Bisleri, HDFC and Max Protein, just to name a few. The medical and firstaid arrangement was also very well taken care of, with Nanavati hospital providing 1 ambulance, 3 doctors and unlimited firstaid, incase anything was to go wrong. At the end of the course , was also a photo booth set up which for all the participants to make this Sunday morning a memorable one. All in all, it was a grand hit.
