The Consul General Dr. Klaus Schmidt, Yvonne Denz, from the German Chamber of Commerce, as well as venue provider Heike Neumann, VP, Head of HR Canada for SAP invited representatives from science and business to join them in Yaletown in the offices of SAP for a New Year’s Reception.

While business networking and enjoying delicious hors d’oeuvres, everyone was given a chance to make new connections, meet old acquaintances and enjoy some fruitful conversations.
Particularly delicious were the lavender macaroons and the lemon tarts…
It was nice to see some VIP’s, like Deputy Mayor Pete Fry.

Though the snow prevented some people from attending, there was still a good-sized crowd at the SAP Yaletown office. There were lots of VID’s – Very Important Discussions taking place.
