Often times we settle. We want to go for it, but instead we pick something less risky and more mundane. Maybe we have a hidden belief that we can’t have what we really want, so we go for something lesser. It feels safer, or a sure bet.

But what do you really want? Maybe you’ve had that thing on your back-burner for years. You’ve always wanted to write a book, start a business, or mentor kids, for example. Yet there’s always something in the way: the next project, the financial stress, the current crisis, or you’re just unsure.

Or maybe you want something more, but you don’t know where you want pour your life. Nothing seems to pop for you. Perhaps your dream of doing something great has been squashed for so long, you don’t even know what it is anymore. It’s been buried so Deep.

Possibly you are already going for it – sort of, but you feel like you could step up more. Maybe it’s not taking off the way you would like.

Whatever your “it” is, I highly encourage you to not wait. If your “it” is still fuzzy, work clarify it now. Don’t put it off. I believe you will have deep regrets if you get to the end of life and never Fully went for it. People at the end of their life frequently report that they wish they had taken more risk and just gone for it. Don’t let that be you.

Even if you don’t fully realize your vision, what you learn and who you become make it so worth while.

So, go for it.
