Christmas at Disney | Contemporary Resort Gingerbread Display

No one does Christmas like Disney! You want extreme decorations and amazing displays, then Walt Disney World has you covered. First, there is the Gingerbread House and gigantic Christmas tree at the Grand Floridian. Then you have the Contemporary Resort Gingerbread Display that is a must-do for any Frozen fan! The best thing about this Disney Christmas experience is that it is completely FREE!

If you are not staying at the Contemporary, the easiest way to get to the resort is to ride the monorail. If you are staying off property and NOT planning to go to the parks, you can park at Disney Springs and then take a bus to the Contemporary Resort. You can also park at the resort, but please be aware that during really busy times that they may not allow non-guest parking unless you have a dining reservation. The Contemporary Resort Gingerbread Display is located across from the Fantasia gift shop. Once you get off the monorail go down the escalator and it is on that level.

The gingerbread smell is so nice and definitely makes you feel like you are at home enjoying a gingerbread cookie of your own. Don’t worry if you are feeling hungry smelling that wonderful smell, there are samples for you to enjoy! You can also buy full Frozen shaped gingerbread cookies.

One of the fun activities to do at the display is to find the hidden Olafs and my husband also found 2 hidden Mickeys!

Please watch your children and be respectful of the beautiful artwork that is there. The sugar sand by the Snowgie castle is somewhat within a child’s reach. You can tell by the finger marks in the sand and sugar on the floor that someone has played with the display.
