When forks and knives are superfluous – Sweet & savoury bite

One of the wonderful advantages of living in the southern hemisphere is definetely to enjoy a picnic in November. And to think that a year ago in this same period, it was more “quilted jacket stuck to the fireplace”!!

I believe there is nothing better than snacking, taking the time to enjoy the beautiful weather. What I love above all is the homely spirit! Each nibbles what he wants, without constraint. Quiches, pies, salads or spreads are ideal for the occasion, as these sweet and savoury bite.

I chose Smoked Duck Breast, a common french product which might be hard to find abroad. Then, you could replace it with smoked ham. Quick and easy, they are also a delicious aperitif.

SWEET & SAVORY BITES

Prep time: 10 min
Cooling time: 20-30 min

15 slices of smoked duck breast

1. Form a ball of cheese either with a spoon and or by rolling it in your hands. To suceed easily that operation, be sure to have cooled hands. If not, wash them under cool water. Then, roll it into the sesame seeds.
