I am most definitely at that age now where the sleepless nights are catching up on my Face – I feel tired, I look tired. I am not one for injections or anything that involves PAIN or long term commitment in terms of skin care. I don’t want to get botox then have to get it constantly – I don’t have the time or money to do so. So what is one to do?  Well apart from trying to get more sleep and making healthier lifestyle choices (exercise, a better diet, smiling more) I am ALL for none evasive beauty treatments that prevent further ageing. 

So it was a treat to try Crystal Clear’s Rewind 10 Sonic Neck Firm and Lift Duo Set. 

Crystal Clear is one of those brands that I find very ‘active’ – I haven’t used it in a long time but I do remember how the products were extremely potent and back in the day I had to introduce new products one by one to avoid a bad reaction. If you want something that is effective though and potent then this is the brand for you. 

This particular kit (there is another version of this device in white called the Contour IT set that comes with the illuminate cream too) contains a cream formulated for the neck area (but can also be used on the face).  The Wand can be used on the next but also on the face on key areas, such as on the jawline, under the cheekbone and under the eyebrow.  Do watch the video here to see exactly how to use this device. 

This device looks like the letter T.  It vibrates when you turn it on, and is very smooth feeling on the skin – there’s no edges or anything jagged that would pull the skin.  You apply your serum of choice (you can use your own), and just gently push this across the areas holding it there if you can.  It effectively gives your facial muscles a bit of exercise and they contract, lifting everything:

The result lasts for around 24 hours, but there are other benefits – it feels like you are getting a real facial massage for one thing and my skin felt tighter, toned and really tingly for a few hours afterwards.  It was really strange….like I could feel it working even after I had finished the treatment. 

I really enjoyed using this device – it’s nice at night, and good before special events too. 

The side of my face this was used on looked a bit brighter – no it’s not going to get rid of all your wrinkles or anything like that but after treatment you look at least 50% more awake and brighter.
