Not as crazy as I thought I would be about "The Secret Life of Pronouns" (which I should have read sooner...) Having a little trouble with the primary thesis about the importance of function words. Not to mention when Pennebaker asserts that individuals who use the words 'aforementioned' or 'condescending' have low self esteem-- that's a little too Freudian for me. I do appreciate his early nod
