Holi comes at a time when most of us are done with their end terms and assignments. A few unfortunate ones do have submissions to make, but the day warranted we forget all our woes. it is one of those occasions that brings together the entire IIMA community, and none of us wanted to miss out. It’s mostly driven by the students, but friends, families, professors, and staff all join in the celebrations.

I had so long only seen pictures of the riot that happens on campus- but today I got a chance to be blown away by the spectacle! You just have to be here to believe it.

Some of us were taking it a little slow at first- dry Holi seemed to be the flavour going around. It was till the colours started flowing in front of the Mess Circle. There was no escaping the pool out there- half an hour and all of us had been dragged and drenched in it. Over the year we had accumulated a lot of strong emotions for our friends- love or hate- today was the time to vent it all out

Some professors had taken the liberty of coming for a stroll- and well- there was no escape for anyone today. They were however sporting enough to let us drown them in the pool, and point out their colleagues who we had missed.

Archya, is a doctor-turned-healthcare administrator, who thinks he has a passion for writing, and hence uses his limited idle time to pen down his thoughts. No publishing house has yet made him any offers, so he has to now debate his opportunity costs.

Archya is presently pursuing a MBA (PGPX) from IIM, Ahmedabad.
