T-Nite approaches, and the Yodas are ready

Tags: tnite pgpx battle

T-Nite is here. And so are the Yodas from PGPX.

It was the curtain raiser event- which was supposed to be an excuse to test the pitches and get to know the opposition. We had turned up decked in green, our theme for T-Nite. And the only lines coming to mind on seeing the arena was,

“Ye T-Nite pe kisne hara rang dala?”

It was green all around- Pgpx had turned up in numbers- to get the message across, that you need to battle each and every one of the 115 X-ers, before you could even get a glimpse of the trophy. And each one of us, it is said, is not less than ten. Bring it on people, let’s see what you have got!

But think before you engage. Because you don’t mess with the Yoda. And that’s our icon by the way- none but the Grandmaster of the Jedi Order. So if you are thinking of judging us by our batch size, think thrice.

“Size matters not. Look at me. Judge me by my size, do you? Hmm? No. And well you should not. For my ally is the Force, and a powerful ally it is.

The words of Yoda himself. Our light-sabers are ready, and if you value your life, you better not get in our way. The Force will cut through all that dares to cross our path.

The show started with a quiz. We had our top guns blazing on all cylinders, and it the end it looked like we would competing among our batch only !

And then it was time for a show of muscle power- time to deliver our vision and mission statements. However, being well versed with first mover advantage, we decided to not just take up the bazooka, but fire it too. The enemy camp was annihilated.

Star of the show: Ritesh Chhabra- our very own Scope 17 (Speaker Club) secretary.

With experience comes wisdom- and we definitely know who to deploy where. Battle scarred and hungry, PGPX is not going to give an inch, and that has been made evident from the start. We don’t waste time in exchanging pleasantries on war day. We believe in decimating our enemy before they even know that the war has begun. And that comes from our experiences in the boardroom- most battles are won before you even arrive at the table.

So Ritesh, calm and composed, walks down to the stage- with oodles of Yoda-ism oozing down his body.

He’s asked why PGPX deserves to win, and he fires his salvo,

“We do not take 2 years or 5 years to complete our gruelling course. We do it in 11 months flat. And hence we won’t just win, we will do it in half the time. Midway through T-Nite- on the stroke of 12 at 12.8.2017, the trophy would be ours.”

And believe it dearies. Because if you don’t, like Luke didn’t- that would be the reason you will fail

As every Star Wars fan knows, there are only two choices. Do, or do not. And we are here to do.

So stay tuned for more updates, and our victory dance.
