Robert Kiyosaki teaches in Rich Dad Poor Dad that you should work not to earn a Salary, but to work to learn.  Learn rather than earn.  Idealistic words, you may think, but not far removed from the truth.

My current employment is neither in the government nor in the private sector.  It is in that sector that does not make a profit.  Many a times a was told that income is not always steady and that I should realize this.  For the month of July, I have only received 25% of my salary.  Whether the rest will arrive this month is still to be seen.  The absense of the 75% helped me focus on what I actually receive each month.  The old cliche that you never know what you have untill you lose it is ringing in my ears everyday.

With only 25% of your salary, you become extremely creative.  You dream up all sorts of streams of revenue.  And your faith gets attacked.  You begin to question deep inside if it is all worth it.  Today I can say for certain that it is worth it! 

Today I went for an interview at a place on 1km from my current place of employment.  It is for my current position, only stacks better.  Not only is the company assured of contracts, but also anyone inside has tons of freedom to execute new ideas.  Fabulous!

On Friday I will know for sure whether I should put in my two weeks notice.  With everyone's help that sees this man in a new position as division head for website programming, I will surely get that interview.  Imagine a dedicated, passionate man with create, innovative ideas for web design, and you have me sketched out! 

I would be walking on are should this position materialize and with that I will witness that it is not my sheer enthusiasm that will get me there, but grace.  I believe I am the correct person for this position and I believe that I will contribute greatly to this company.  I also believe that should I not be the ideal candidate, that I will be notified and that I will accept the result gracefully, whatever it may be.  I hope I get the job though!
